Description of content

  • The collection consists of 26 oil paintings, five of them on two sides. The artist was a teacher and a school headmaster, who had painted since his schooldays, but more actively since the 1950s. In these paintings, besides nature and mythology, important events in Estonian history are represented; referring to these events was prohibited during Soviet times.
